Designed to run in conjunction with heavy-duty service packers like the HD Abandonment Packer, this valve allows significant loads to hang through the tool so a work string can remain in place below. It utilizes a colleted sliding valve that opens and closes through disconnect and reconnect operations, enabling high-rate circulation without valve damage. Built with a colleted latch system using left-hand buttress threads, the Abandonment Valve ensures a strong, secure engagement and is safeguarded against thread back-off during packer setting.
