Snap Latch Assembly
The Snap Latch Assembly mechanically latches into the packer on set down and provides a reliable mechanical indication of proper seal assembly positioning.
The Snap Latch Seal Assembly latches into the packer upon set down, similar to the Anchor Latch Seal Assembly. It can be removed with a straight pull requiring 10,000 to 12,000 lbs. above tubing weight. This assembly is used in applications where a mechanical indication is needed to verify that the seal assembly is properly positioned within the packer bore.
