The ASI-X Packer is the most adaptable mechanical set packer in the lineup, suitable for use in virtually any production scenario—whether for injection, treating, or testing in both shallow and deep wells. This tool can be set and operated in tension, compression, or neutral position based on well demands, offering maximum flexibility. Its large internal by-pass minimizes swabbing and enables effective pressure equalization by opening prior to releasing the upper slips. The packer features a simple ¼-turn right-hand set and release system via its J-slot mechanism. Available in standard and high-temperature (HT) models, the ASI-X can handle differential pressures up to 10,000 PSI, making it ideal for high-pressure production environments where long-term deployment is needed.
